New Rebel Kitchen range exclusively for Out of Home customers

We’ve launched a 6-strong range of raw, cold pressed juices exclusively for the out of home and hospitality sector under our Rebel Kitchen brand.

We are proud to launch a new range of Rebel Kitchen raw, cold pressed juices exclusively for the out of home and hospitality sector.

Adam Draper, Managing Director of Nurture Brands comments, ‘from our research we know that the hospitality sector is crying out for high quality British-made juice brands that cannot be found in the big supermarkets’.
Draper continues ‘whereas a great deal of the UK’s fresh juice market is imported from factories in Spain and the Netherlands, we make every drop in our wholly owned juicery in Kent using high quality British produce as much as we reasonably can. We pride ourselves on being number one for taste, being 100% renewable energy powered and paying all our employees the Real Living Wage. It goes without saying that we use wonky fruit too, but I think that is par for the course now’.

Rebel Kitchen cold-pressed juices cover all customer needs; from 60ml ginger and turmeric shots, 250ml blended juices and smoothies, to 1L orange, apple, lemon, and lime juices. ‘Rebel Kitchen is a one-stop shop for hospitality customers who cherish taste and quality; unlike many mainstream juice brands, we use high pressure processing to retain all the taste and micronutrients that would otherwise be lost in the pasteurisation process’ says Draper.

In addition to being the only exclusively hospitality focused, British-made raw juice brand, Rebel Kitchen is also a certified B Corporation and gives 1% of all revenue to The Orchard Project, the UK’s only charity dedicated to the creation and restoration of inner-city orchards.

Draper concludes ‘when it comes to taste, sustainability and supporting British hospitality, farming, and manufacturing, we like to think we are in pole position. And we would welcome any customer to our site in Kent to see the care and attention that we put into every juice and find out how incredibly competitive we are when it comes to pricing’.

Rebel Kitchen partners with The Orchard Project

A part of our 1% For the Planet commitment, we have partnered with The Orchard Project, the only national charity dedicated to the creation, restoration and celebration of community orchards.

We have announced a new partnership with The Orchard Project to help communities connect with nature, natural produce and the earth.

The Orchard Project is the only national charity dedicated to creating, maintaining and celebrating community orchards. Since 2009, The Orchard Project has planted or restored over 500 orchards, helping to bring about positive change for people and planet, and the charity aims to make a serious contribution to a better food system with people working together, where they live, to produce and harvest their own fruit.

Ben Arbib, Co-Founder of Rebel Kitchen, said: ‘This is an exciting partnership with The Orchard Project, who are helping rebuild orcharding skills and knowledge in our communities. We share in the belief that orchards have the potential to build stronger communities by providing space and empowering people to contribute to reducing food miles. That’s why we wanted to support The Orchard Project and get involved with the work they do.

We will donate 1% of revenue to The Orchard Project for every Rebel Kitchen product sold, as part of the commitment to our 1% For The Planet membership. We will also support The Orchard Project throughout the year and take part in orchard celebrations, such as blossom week, pruning and harvesting.

Kath Rosen, CEO of The Orchard Project, said: “This is a great opportunity for us to share our story with a different audience and highlight the fantastic work being carried out in community orchards across the capital. I’m excited to see where this partnership takes us!

PRESS – Produced in Kent

Article from Produced in Kent.

The Juice Executive, Kent launches its purpose built, cold pressed vegetable juicing plant this week. The cold pressed juice industry is a rapidly growing market in the UK, with trends replicating patterns seen in the US and Australia. Alongside growing concerns over the high natural sugar content in fruit juice, vegetable juice is fast growing a reputation as a healthier choice.

With juices including the ‘Ultimate Green’, a cold pressed blend of wheatgrass, spinach, cucumber, celery, pear, parsley & lemon, The Juice Executive offers a truly fresh, healthy & delicious way to up your vegetable intake. Other vegetable juice based products currently on the supermarket shelves have all either undergone flash pasteurisation or HPP (High Pressure Processing) to extend their shelf life, something which The Juice Executive does not compromise on.

There has been an explosion of start-up cold pressed juice companies over the past 18 months in the UK. Many however operate on an artisan scale, with minimal production facilities contributing to a high market price. The Juice Executive has taken cold pressed juice processing to a commercial level, with an enviable capacity but no compromise on freshness or quality. The short shelf life of cold pressed juice (3-4 days) means that a state of the art facility must have the ability to source, press, package and distribute volume on a daily basis. The Juice Executive hopes to challenge more traditional distribution methods, and bring cold pressed juices direct to the consumer without the need for HPP. The company operates their own brand of juices available online and through selected stockists (250ml from £3.90). As a manufacturer, The Juice Executive also offers white label products to higher volume customers. For all trade enquiries please email info@juiceexec.co.uk.
